I have been a licensed salon professional for over 40 years. I know people--I love working with them and the vast variety of conversations that come with it!
I've traveled extensively across four continents, with my most recent adventure being China, which is what inspired me to start learning Mandarin and ultimately get TEFL certified.
I respect and value other cultures and languages deeply, and I bring that awareness and empathy into every lesson.

I plan on doing Combination Lessons with my students: In Person and Online via phone, iPad, or Tablet.
In Person lessons will focus on "real-life" activities. Online activities will involve a pre-list and topic sent beforehand to the student via email or text, real work done in session, homework, and feedback.
I am dedicated to getting you the information, direction, and results you need-- whether you are learning English for the first time or improving what you already know. As a Mandarin learner myself (3 1/2 + years), I truly understand the challenges of learning a foreign language!
My lessons cover Beginner to Intermediate General English, Conversational English, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and pronunciation skills.
