About Jason
I have been teaching and tutoring students of English language for many years. I treat each of my students with respect as an individual. Each person has their own needs and skills, and I always try to work with this in mind.
My daily goal is to give my students everything I can to help them achieve their own aims. They should always walk away with something new, or something improved.

My methods change depending on your needs. Some students need a conversation partner who will correct their mistakes, and can give explanations. Other students need a more structured lesson, complete with charts and diagrams. I am happy to accommodate my students, whatever their needs.
A typical lesson goes as follows:
1. Introduction/warmup - get focused on English communication.
2. Review - review content from previous lesson
3. Presentation - introduce new material
4. Practice - guide student through practice exercise
5. Production - give student opportunity to use the new language
My style involves empathy, respect, understanding, and humor, but is always focused on the goals for the day. The student should always walk away with at least one new skill or tool that they can use.
I have taught students of all levels and age-groups, though I have the most experience with adults of university age and above.
