About Lerato
Hello! My name is Lerato, and I am excited to be your teacher this year. I hold a certificate in TEFL from TEFL Universal as well as a Certificate in ECD from PlaySA, and I have 1 year of experience in teaching English. My passion for teaching stems from a desire to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential. I believe that education is a transformative journey, and I am dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. I am particularly interested in teaching hands-on learning, technology integration, as I believe these approaches can make learning more meaningful and relevant. I look forward to working together and exploring new ideas in our classroom!

In my classroom I use interactive methods, including games, discussions, and multimedia resources, to engage with my students. Helping students gain language skills empowers them to pursue education, travel, or job opportunities that require English proficiency. Teaching English keeps me learning as I encounter new challenges and different learning styles from my students. English is a global language, and teaching it allows me to contribute to my students' ability to communicate in an increasingly interconnected world.
