About Sandra
I'm a CELTA certified ESL teacher and I have been tutoring privately since I was a high-school student. Over the past 5 years, I have taught in 2 different language academies in Vancouver, where I had an opportunity to teach people with different backgrounds. I gained enjoyable experience in teaching various age-groups and nationalities over those years and I currently give private lessons.
If you wanna know a bit more about me:
I'm lucky to be living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver, Canada. I'm originally from Europe and I love anything related to nature and art. I occasionally do painting as a hobby and on the weekends, you can find me hiking or enjoying a good coffee and a croissant in one of Vancouver's cafes. I'm absolutely addicted to those. :) Teaching is my passion because I find it rewarding to help people succeed.

It's my priority to tailor each lesson to students' individual needs so that they feel comfortable during class. At the same time, I make sure the classes are challenging enough, so my students progress in a very short time. I also believe reviewing notes regularly and putting any acquired knowledge into practice is a great technique how to keep anything in your long-term memory. I will gladly show you how.
