About Danperkin

I’m an undergraduate student studying Environmental Science, with over a year and a half of experience tutoring students in Geography, Chemistry, and Biology at KS3 and GCSE levels. I’m passionate about helping students truly understand the subjects they’re studying and reach their full potential. My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student’s needs. I strongly believe in open communication and a collaborative approach — where the student, parent, and tutor all work together to support learning and academic success. Whether you're working towards a target grade or just need a bit of extra support, I’m here to help.

About the lesson

If you let me know which area of biology or geography you’d like support with, I will create a structured and tailored lesson plan to help explain key concepts clearly and build your understanding. I tailor the lessons to every student and I believe in adjusting the pace and style as we go along. I offer explanations and support of each topic in detail, as well as practice exam style questions and essay-writing. Before the first lesson I will ask for which area you need help with and I will use the first lesson to gauge your level of ability and knowledge, discuss what your goals are and what you are aiming to achieve, and put together a scheme of work for your course while you study with me. I produce my own worksheets, I do give homework and give feedback.
