In addition to a scientific teaching method needed for teaching biology and environmental science in an academic setting, I also employ a coaching type teaching method as I have multiple years of experience as a karate instructor. In teaching, I help to make abstract concepts more concrete by using real-life examples and applications.
A typical lesson plan on ecosystems such as wetlands, for example, might include the basic scientific introduction of wetlands and the ecosystem services they provide.
Lessons are available ranging from middle school to college level.
