About Emily
I am a Primary School Teacher, preciously based within Year 4, but now in year 2. I have a BA (Hons) Primary English Education degree with qualified teacher status. I have a love for learning and believe that half the battle is the children’s need to have confidence in their own abilities.

I believe that when a child is truly engaged with a task, it is when they are enjoying themselves and putting the task into practical contexts. This may mean that your child is rooting around the house measuring everything they can find, or possibly they’re calculating the cheapest option for milk on the food shop. As long as they’re enjoying themselves and understand what they’re doing, that is all that matters.
