About Ella
I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a 2:1 Bachelor's Degree in Music. Before this, I studied Music at GCSE and A Level along with taking grades in singing, flute, piano, music theory, musical theatre and saxophone. I regularly perform with choirs both as a chorus member and a soloist and over lockdown I delivered several virtual vocal coaching lessons to choirs. I have an enhanced DBS check and am a licensed child chaperone.

I am a patient Music Theory and Music GCSE & A Level tutor with a real love for music and music education. I am passionate about helping other people reach their goals and I will never give up! I achieved 'A' grades in Music GCSE and A Level and got 96% in my grade 5 theory. I am a semi-professional classical singer and have a grade 8 distinction in both singing and flute, with experience teaching both. I use a structured approach, ensuring that I coach students to gain the knowledge and skills they need that will last a lifetime. I have a strong focus on delivering high-quality teaching and will never be complacent - I want to release the full potential of my students while motivating them to enjoy their learning at the same time!
