About Maryam

I am a fully qualified primary school teacher from the UK with over 10 years of experience in the classroom. I am available to tutor a range of lesson including literacy ( reading and writing) and maths. I offer fun, personalised and engaging lessons.

About the lesson

My teaching method is about identifying the child's needs and building on their interests. I like to keep the lesson fun, exciting and purposeful. I begin the lesson with an exciting hook, followed by sharing the learning skills intention and highlighting what will be covered. I have a main teaching session which involves modelling and scaffolding and finally closing with a plenary.
