About Aidana
Hello everyone!
My name is Aidana, and I’m a PhD student in Biological Sciences specialising in medical mycology and molecular genetics. I also have BSc and MSc degrees in Biomedical Science with a specialism in Cancer biology.
When one considers studying science, a strong sense of determination, effort, and patience immediately springs to mind. It is this that lies at the heart of my interest and enthusiasm.
I have always been passionate about science. A passion for biology led me to enter and win various scientific competitions and study this field at school. I have been tutoring online for over 4 years now for various levels and prepared students for different scientific exams ranging from primary to secondary school levels. I have successfully taken a range of science-based exams (GCSE, A level, Pre-U and BMAT), hence I’m familiar with their formats and skills assessed. I can facilitate understanding of complex scientific concepts by dividing the concept into “chunks” and illustrating with examples.
