About Senio
Being a PhD student, I work in a multidisciplinary group that have projects on physics, chemistry and biology meaning that I am continually interacting and exchanging knowledge with specialists of different fields.
Occasionally I do lab demonstrations to undergraduates in my department. Teaching opportunities came along when I was asked to train master students who joined our group for their MSc projects. One of the feedback I received is my ability to explain complex experiments and theories to people outside my field.
At the moment I work in a group where we get inspiration from nature to deliver biomacromolecules ranging from proteins, drugs and nucleic acids using nanotechnology. I am particularly interested in gene therapy currently working on efficiently delivering nucleic acids for anticancer therapy.

I use an individual approach to teaching students. I adapt my tutoring style depending on the tutee as everyone has a different learning style.
I did Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths at A-levels (AAAA), and moved on doing a BSc in Biomedical Science. Later on, I joined an MSc programme in Drug Discovery and Development and I'm currently finishing my PhD in Chemistry at UCL.
