About Charlotte
Having achieved a B English Language at A-Level and a 9 at GCSE, I am looking to share my unencumbered enthusiasm for the subject with students of all ages up to A-Level! With my second-year Language investigation focusing on phonology (sounds), I have a keen interest in phonetics, accent and dialect. However, I am skilled in all areas of Language, and can help you or your child with either the theoretical side of the course or improving essay-writing/exam skills.

I prefer to keep my tutelage as student-run as I possibly can. This means that before we begin lessons, I will offer a free hour to discuss your course and which aspects you require extra help with. I might ask to see a few of your most recent exam pieces or essays to get a feel for what you can do and what you are capable of achieving. I will talk to you about how many lessons you are looking for in what time scale, and use the information gathered to devise a study plan.
Though I can offer tutoring for any target-grade, I will ensure that we move together at a pace that is right for you. After every session I will ask you to rate how you felt about it and, if you found the lesson too challenging or not challenging enough, I can alter my teaching style to suit this.
