About Hrishet
Hello! My name is Hrishet, and I am a dedicated tutor with prior experience teaching math, English, and science to elementary, middle school, and high school students. My goal is always to inspire confidence in my students by breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit individual needs whether that means using visual aids, real life examples, or extra practice exercises. Having also taught swimming and lifesaving, I bring patience, encouragement, and creativity into every lesson I give. Students and parents can feel reassured knowing that I approach each session with professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for helping learners succeed. With me, learning becomes less stressful and more enjoyable, while building the confidence needed to grow academically.

As a tutor, I, Hrishet, focus on making learning interactive, simple, and enjoyable for my students. My teaching methodology combines clear explanations with step-by-step practice so that each concept builds on the last. I use real-life examples, visual aids, and quick review games to make even challenging subjects easier to understand.
A typical lesson plan begins with a short recap of the previous session, followed by a focused teaching segment on a new topic. I then guide students through practice problems or exercises, encouraging them to think aloud so I can address misunderstandings right away. Each session ends with a short review and a few “challenge questions” to strengthen confidence.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I’ve had prior experience tutoring math, English, and science, while also teaching swimming and lifesaving skills. This diverse background has taught me how to adapt my methods to different learners, whether they need a patient, step-by-step approach or a more fast-paced, engaging style. I connect well with students since I’m a high school student myself, which makes the lessons relatable and less intimidating.
My lessons are designed for elementary, middle school, and high school students who want support in math, English, and science. I especially enjoy working with students who may feel unsure about a subject and helping them gain both skills and confidence.
