About Georgie

I’m a qualified physiotherapist with a real passion for helping people reach their goals, both in health and in language learning. I was born and raised in Oxfordshire before moving to Southampton for university, and later living abroad in Vancouver. It was there that I completed my Level 5 TEFL qualification and began teaching English alongside my physiotherapy work. Teaching quickly became something I genuinely loved. I worked with both children and adults from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them build confidence, improve communication, and feel more comfortable expressing themselves in everyday situations. Since returning to England, I’ve continued teaching and really enjoy supporting learners in such a diverse and multicultural environment. I’m patient, supportive, and focused on creating a relaxed space where people feel confident to learn and progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

My Teaching Style I take a friendly, relaxed approach to teaching and focus on helping students feel comfortable and confident when speaking English. My lessons are conversation-based and designed around real life, so you’re not just learning rules, you’re learning how to actually use the language naturally. I work a lot on pronunciation and clear speech, helping students sound more natural and confident when they speak. I’m very patient and supportive, and I adapt each lesson to suit your level, pace, and goals. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your English, I’ll meet you where you are and help you progress at a pace that feels right. How Lessons Work Lessons are usually around 60 minutes and are relaxed but structured. We’ll focus on speaking, listening, and building confidence through conversation, with gentle corrections and practical tips along the way. I like to keep lessons enjoyable and pressure-free so learning feels natural rather than stressful. My Experience I’ve taught learners of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to more confident speakers who want to improve fluency and pronunciation. I genuinely enjoy helping people grow in confidence and reach their personal language goals.
