About Donna
I am an experienced Spanish/ESL/ English teacher in CT currently tutoring students in the Washington Depot area. I teach English/Spanish/Creative Writing and Assist in Remote Learning during the pandemic crisis. I have taught Spanish/English/Creative Writing for over 20 years in CT. I have my Master's Degree in Education. I have taught in both public and private schools. I am familiar with boarding school environments as well as inner city schools. There is NO student I cannot teach. I have many years of experience in ESL and Special Education. I live to teach children of all ages and reach for the stars.

My teaching approach is creative, fun, energetic and hands-on learning. Throughout every session of tutoring, no matter what the subject is, the student becomes the teacher. I find that when active participation happens, learning occurs on both ends. We develop a working relationship which grows from building a strong foundation based on academic and personal concern. Once a student is engaged, there are NO limits as to what he/she can achieve.
