About Jennifer
Working as a tutor for many years, I have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills which really help to make pupils feel confident and motivated to learn. I am a qualified primary teacher and also have a degree in English Literature. I have been tutoring pupils from year 3 (primary) up to A-Level, and have found that using an informal approach builds for stronger and more successful lessons, and find that through using a mixture of media, revision techniques and exam style questions work in a positive way. I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor who focuses on building strong relationships with students and helping them to gain confidence in their work. I like to keep lessons as interactive as possible as I feel this encourages learning and makes the subject more enjoyable. I have helped many different students of all age ranges in areas such as; reading, writing, gaining confidence for presentations, GCSE and A-Level exam revision and prep, and KS2&3 abilities.
