About Chris
I am a science teacher with 12 years experience teaching in classrooms - mainly in secondary schools. I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Biological Science and a PGCE in education. I mainly teach the 3 sciences - biology, chemistry and physics to GCSE standard, but also offer biology to A-level. In addition, I teach maths regularly so can help with this too.
The tutoring I have carried out in the past has been very successful not only in improving knowledge but also in building confidence so my students feel more able to participate and progress better in the classroom too.

I like to find out about each student and their specific tutoring needs before starting the lessons so I can tailor my approach. I have quite an informal teaching style, I prefer the student to enjoy the lesson and want to get fully involved so the sessions can be as fun and interactive as possible.
