About Gloria
My name is Gloria and I am an Italian professional musician, harpist and pianist based in South-East London.
I started learning the piano at the age of four and have continued studying and playing it throughout my musical education. I trained at music school in Italy before moving to the UK to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where I specialised in harp while continuing to develop my skills as a pianist and musician.
Alongside my work as a professional harpist, I continue to play piano and teach students of different ages and levels. My experience as a professional musician allows me to bring a broad musical perspective to lessons, including technique, musicianship, music reading, interpretation and performance skills.
I particularly enjoy helping students develop a genuine understanding and enjoyment of music, rather than simply learning notes from a page.

I offer personalised piano lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to more experienced players.
My lessons are constantly adapted to each student’s interests and goals. For beginners, we can work on the fundamentals of piano playing, including posture, technique, music reading, rhythm and musical expression, while gradually building a repertoire that keeps lessons interesting and enjoyable.
For more advanced students, I can help develop technique, interpretation, musicality and performance skills, as well as prepare repertoire for exams, auditions or performances. We can work towards ABRSM or Trinity exams, always choosing repertoire that you enjoy and build your skills at a comfortable pace.
I aim to make lessons friendly and encouraging while giving students clear guidance and practical things to work on between lessons.

Such a great teacher! Gloria makes everything so easy to understand and keeps things fun. I've actually noticed myself improving a lot without feeling stressed about it
Looking forward to the next lesson!
