About Olivia
I have been tutoring for over 3 years in various degrees of English, reading, and writing comprehension at the elementary and middle school grade levels. I have taught/tutored 4-5 students over the course of my time as a tutor. I believe in working with the student to make sure that they get what they are looking for out of the tutoring sessions.

I approach each topic by identifying the specific areas where a student does not feel confident and then starting from there. I do not feel like it is worthwhile to spend copious amounts of time on the areas where a student already feels confident and I will just have them explain the concept themselves. Then we would focus on the areas where they struggling and work through them step by step until they feel confident in the area themselves.
