About Nicole
Hi! I’m a Stony Brook University graduate with a double major and I’ll be starting law school this August. With a strong foundation in critical reading, analytical writing, and persuasive communication, I’m passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in English—and beyond. My academic background has trained me to think clearly, write effectively, and approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset. I bring that same energy and structure to every tutoring session. As a tutor, I take a student-centered, results-driven approach. I incorporate active learning through discussion, writing exercises, and collaborative analysis. Each session ends with clear takeaways and a short plan for continued progress. What sets me apart is my background: I’m a graduate of Stony Brook University and an incoming law student.
