About Claudia
I am located in Newtown, lessons can take place in my apartment, at the students house, a public place or online.
I have always been passionate about English literature.
I have competed in poetry and short story competitions.
A short story I wrote was published.
I have also written a book in the process of being published.
I was involved with my university’s newsletter.
I have previously tutored for students at the Kings School.
This all to say that there is nothing I love more than sharing my love of reading and writing to people.
I have also worked in sales and marketing for quite some time which gives me experience in professional writing, resume writing and how to send professional emails. Which I believe is an extremely important skill for young people.

I recommend 60 minutes for students year 7-10, 120 minutes for students in year 11 and 12. One lesson weekly or twice a week depending on the student.
I also give homework, to be reviewed at the next lesson.
I have found the best way to teach is to look at the fundamentals, grammar and literacy is the foundations of all writing and reading. Any piece of writing can be good with correct structure and a careful choice of words (such as using literary devices).
