About Juliana
My name is Juliana Alföldi. I have a BA Honours degree in English and an Honours degree in learning support. I’m also TEFL certified. I taught English to high school learners in public schools for 5 years. From there, I moved on to become an online tutor at a university and I have been tutoring for 8 years now. I’m a very positive person and I’m patient and kind. I also write articles for a magazine so reading, writing, jogging and talking are things I like to do.

My teaching method is student centered. Students are not viewed as “empty vessels” who passively receive knowledge from their teachers through lectures. I encourage students to actively take part in the lessons and bring their prior knowledge to the table to get most out of the lesson. Students learn easier this way.
