I work with elementary, middle, and high school students working to improve their essay skills and reading comprehension. My approach to essays is starting with a strong outline with a powerful thesis and quotes. With that basis, we will ask questions and have conversations in advancing analysis. For reading comprehension, I offer different note-taking techniques, how to write efficient annotations.
