About Zoe

I have been a tutor at Harbor High School for two years and also have experience TA'ing at a local preschool along with tutoring my brothers. I love exploring new learning styles because I realize that often, school lessons aren't a one-size-fits-all situation. Not all students learn the way that they are taught in school, so I've made it my mission to find new ways to teach in a way that will stick with my students and help them develop learning skills that will help them in the future.

About the lesson

I love teaching in a learning style that works well with my students. When I give a lesson or help with an assignment, I always strive to find new ways to learn a subject that resonates with my students. I have experience with almost every reading level, from teaching the sounds that letters make to my little brothers to helping 4th graders improve their reading flow and recently working with sophomores and freshmen in high school to learn how to structure their essays and interpret a poem.

Perfect! Zoe is an amazing tutor for our son, a 6th grader. She is extremely patient and kind and very organized. She helps him with homework in all subjects and he has been improving a lot since she started tutoring him at the beginning of this year. Zoe has also managed to keep him motivated and excited. Our son looks up to her as a role model. We couldn't be more grateful and happy that we found her!
