About Lucie
Whilst I travelled the world, I have gained a TEFL qualification, not only learning the language but also many cultural aspects of the world.
I have graduated from an English University using english with a 10 000 word dissertation.
I now live my 20th year in english speaking country (UK, NZ) using the language every day.
I have worked as an interpretter for the Job centre in the UK
I lectured at a Universal College in NZ.
I also lectured private clients in CZ.

I love to chat in english and to challenge my students to think rather than to memorise.
I feel it is important to make the students understand not only the language but the culture too. A simple translation from english into your own language will not always make sense.
I like a real situation learning eg. if learning directions - let take the student for a walk or a drive and speak about the vocabulary and sentences as we experience it; lets bake a cake if we are learning about cooking etc.
