About Kenzie
I have worked as an English tutor for six years, helping students learn how to read or improve their reading, write academic and creative pieces, form a better understanding of grammar and mechanics, and sprout a new passion for English literature and the English language. I have also worked as an ESL teacher for foreign language students overseas, and a reading teacher for preschool and toddler aged students. I am currently in my final year at UMKC studying English literature, creative writing, and publication. In my free time, I write creative, narrative, and academic pieces online.

I am an experienced English tutor and teacher to both native and foreign language speakers. My passion is to help students develop a broader understanding of the English language, literature, creative, and academic writing and all other English functions they need to improve upon. I base my lessons around the student's interests, using their passions and creative ideas to cement in them a strong appreciation and cognizance for all aspects of the English language. I am here for whatever they need help in, whether it's writing a research paper, learning the mechanics and the ever-tedious English grammar rules, or taking on a new level of reading and comprehension.

Details
I will still charge for cancellations, but rather than the assigned lesson amount of $24 an hour, I will charge $15 per missed hour of lesson time.
