About Amanda
I have a university degree in English and have taught many students of varying ages, grade levels, and learning styles for over ten years. I study the way a student learns and mold my teaching to their specific needs instead of forcing conformity. This allows everyone to be more comfortable which in turn allows them to understand and absorb more. I studied in the IB program and then went on to a university degree which gives me a great understanding of the subject as well as various ways to teach and study.

I’ve been teaching English to students ranging from kindergarten all the way up to university level. I take the curriculum and assignments and make sure every student is taught in a way that they understand. The student is most important! Everyone does not work the same way so the teaching should not be the same for everyone. I teach in a way that supports each student’s individual needs, interests, and understanding in order to help them strive to their full potential.
