About India

I am a highly trained singer and actor who recently graduated from Columbia University. I studied Classics and Shakespeare extensively in high school and college, and throughout those eight years tutored young readers and Ancient Greek students and gave vocal lessons to fellow Columbia students.

About the lesson

Through encouragement, kindness, and support, I believe we can foster an environment where my students feel comfortable taking chances and speaking freely, entirely free of judgement. I treat my students with respect, regardless of their age. My goal is for my students to gain the confidence they need to consistently improve their skills and work towards being self-sufficient and innovative thinkers!

India is that one-of-a-kind teacher who has both strong technical ability and an abiding passion for singing. I have never met someone so dedicated to her craft whose drive is so visible in everything she does. I’ve known her for three years and never have seen her do anything half-heartedly. She forms strong connections with her students from day one, always accommodating their needs and making sure they are getting closer to their goals.
