I am an experienced Social worker with a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Babcock university. I am also a friendly and approachable individual that maintains a professional bearing, engages well with students, and aims to enhance your English communication skills. I always consider the feelings of each of my students and look to empower them and help make positive life-changing decisions. I love reading books, watching Korean dramas and exercising. I have 4 years of teaching experience and my teaching philosophy is simple. I use a hands-on technique and am approachable to my students. I incorporate fun into my lessons when possible and while my easy-going style is suitable for many subjects and grades, I am also able to adapt my style to the needs of the student. For instance, if I have students that are not comfortable with independent learning, I employ the facilitator style of teaching that calls for a student-centred learning approach. My colleagues generally say that I am outgoing and I think their assessment is accurate.
