About Allannah
I grew up surrounded by the English language. My mother was an English teacher, and we only spoke English at home. As I grew up, I developed a strong interest in reading, which quickly grew my vocabulary and fluency. I spent my free time writing stories and exploring the world of creativity opened up to me by the language.
I received a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching. This gave me the knowledge to teach children how to read and write. I have been teaching for 8 years and am currently teaching English Home Language to primary school learners.

When I teach English, I go in with the understanding that it is a language full of exceptions. English should be taught with the comfort of the learner in mind. I ensure that my lessons are engaging, and that notes are provided afterwards.
My lessons are aimed for grade 4 - 7 learners who wish to improve their skills or prepare for assessments and exams.
