About Misha
Kia Ora, my name is Misha and I've graduated from Kings High School end of 2024. One of my passions has always been English and it shows with the Scholarship I had received start of the following year (and the many Excellence marks in prior standards for English). I'm patient with everyone, easy to talk to and a team player.
Personally, I'm from Russia, I've got a Dog named Dex who's turning 6 very soon this year. I'm also studying at Otago University for my Bachelor of Science and hopefully later on, a Masters aswell.

Patient. Quiet lessons to allow yourself to get into English without it seeming like a lingering task. I'll let you guide the pace of the session apposed to how it's usually the opposite in classrooms.
What I can provide upon request:
- Essay questions
- Unfamiliar texts for review
What I can assist with:
- Looking through an essay and giving recommendations for higher grades (Merit / Excellence)
- Help drafting an essay, brain storming etc.
- Mark essays that you write specifically for a future session and walk through with what mark was given and why.
For writing essays it's necessary you have at least three or more texts/films you know well and quotes that you can use too. I can always help with this too.

The rate covers a multitude of things to avoid confusions with extra fees I've just combined them into one streamlined cost for an hour.
Tutoring wise:
- Equipment (Pens, pencils, notebook for keeping track of progress)
- Essay questions, unfamiliar questions + texts.
Marking wise*:
- Giving my personal opinion on what grade you could potentially get for your work based solely on quality, conciseness of work and content.
* - I am not a teacher, when it comes to marking I'll be comparing my previous work that has been graded at Excellence (E7-E8) and in addition, grading based on conciseness of work, content and quality respectively.
