About Cordelia

Graduated high school with a 95% (excelling in English, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, History, French and more).

Graduated university with an 85% (majored in Philosophy, minored in Criminology, with many courses in Psychology and Sociology). This is where the depth of my essay writing skills comes in. Consistently scoring very high on very complex, long and rigidly structured essays.

Graduated from college with a 97% average (Social Service Work) which has granted me professional experience in administering therapy and is proof of my propensity for patience, kindness, empathy, respect and meeting people at their level (skill, knowledge, capacity, etc.).

Re-entering University at third-year level to obtain a Bachelor of Social Work and eventually a Master of Social Work so that I may become a psychotherapist. Eventually, I'd like to go back to university to obtain a doctorate so that I may teach at the college or university level!

Extensive experience with children. I'm the oldest of four siblings, oldest of ten cousins and the oldest of many grandchildren - I'm the go-to babysitter! Extremely patient and empathetic with young children and have always been able to create easy, quick bonds with young kids!

About the lesson

I am willing/able to teach English at all levels (grade 1-post 2nd) and am open to English-second language students!

Grade 1-4: Basic language acquisition and comprehension, kind and patient approach, extensive experience with young children!

Grade 5-8: Assigning reading/writing/grammar homework to help improve current skills and help with school assignments!

Grade 9-12: Extensive knowledge of assigned literature and assignments - essay writing, essay structure (MLA, APA), intro to finding appropriate resources (graduated high school in 2018 with 95%).

Post-2nd: Complex comprehension of various forms of literature (specializing in Shakespeare, Philosophical texts, and modern/classic literature. Hands-on essay writing help (structure, thesis, resources, etc.).
