About Varanya
Growing up, English was the one subject that never felt like studying. I still remember reading lines like Shakespeare’s “All the world’s a stage,” Robert Frost’s “Two roads diverged in a wood,” and Jane Austen’s sharp observations about human nature, and realizing that literature quietly teaches us how people think, feel, and live. That curiosity for language and stories is what shaped my love for English.
In my classes, I try to pass on the same sense of discovery. Lessons are clear, structured, and interactive; covering grammar, literature, comprehension, and writing skills while also helping students understand the ideas behind the text. Whether we are exploring Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Dickens, or modern prose, I guide students to read carefully, think clearly, and express themselves with confidence.
My aim is simple: to help students perform well in exams while also helping them feel that English is not just a subject...but a language they can truly enjoy and grow with.

I teach English with both structure and affection for the subject. To me, it is not only about grammar and exams, but about helping students discover the beauty of language: whether in Shakespeare’s insight, Wordsworth’s simplicity, or the quiet depth of Emily Dickinson. My classes aim to make English feel less like a burden and more like a world worth entering.
My teaching style blends clear explanation, close reading, writing practice, and regular revision. A typical class includes a brief recap, concept teaching, discussion of text or topic, guided practice, and feedback. I pay special attention to grammar, literature, comprehension, writing skills, and answer presentation.
What makes my teaching distinctive is that I combine exam-focused preparation with genuine literary passion. I want students not only to score well, but also to read with sensitivity, think with clarity, and write with confidence.
These classes are intended for school students from Classes 7 to 12, especially those studying under the ICSE and CBSE boards.
