About Abigail
TEFL-Certified, Hospitality graduate seeking to teach children English online. I have extensive experience teaching children and adults English in South Africa, and onboard the cruise ships where we had over 43 different nationalities. I have a quiet, clutter-free environment that is purely dedicated to my online classroom. I am also currently studying child psychology online.
My main occupation has been in the hospitality and tourism industry, where I have developed excellent Customer Service skills; a strong ability to cope well under pressure. Using the experience, I have gained, I continuously challenge myself to grow and develop new skills, find solutions and manage multiple situations at any one time with speed and efficiency. I am always eager to learn and further my training in order to keep up to date and abreast of the current job requirements/ Industry trends. With a high attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability, I am a positive team player with the ability to communicate effectively to guests and colleagues at all levels and believe that professionalism and integrity in all matters lead to an efficient operation. I have been fortunate enough to have worked and travelled extensively overseas. I have affirmed my passion by working with people and dynamic individuals from all backgrounds. It is here that I feel that I learn and grow the most as an individual/employee.

I base my classes around the individual's specific needs. I mainly focus on communication and then accuracy. I like my students to speak as much as possible in class as communication is key. My job entails public speaking, so I will be able to get kids ready for any presentations.
