I have been an English teacher in and around Aberdeen over the last fifteen years. I have experience of teaching all levels of Secondary English as well as Media Studies at qualification levels. I have success in the classroom and now look to replicate that in tutoring.

Education is all about the individual so my teaching approach is always to consider the best way to challenge and develop skills based on the needs of that pupil. I try to make lessons interesting, expect pupils to question and engage with me to move the learning forward. Learning and teaching should never be passive.
