About Karen
I am a retired English/Language Arts teacher for Students with disabilities. I have individualized teaching experience that allows students to pass High School Graduation tests, SATs, and improve grades. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education and I am certified to teach students that have learning disabilities.

My teaching method is to get to know the students' needs, strengths, and weaknesses. I build confidence focusing on strengths that gives an "I can do this" attitude while repetition of skills in the weak areas is building confidence as well.
