About Jillian
With over 7 years of teaching experience spanning from 6th to 12th grade, I am thrilled to extend my expertise to offer personalized tutoring services. Graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education and minors in Political Science and Teaching English as a Second Language. I also have experience working with gifted students to students who need special education services. From helping a gifted 5-year-old ace the SCAT test and the PSAT to guiding high school students through challenging English concepts, I am committed to nurturing each student's potential and fostering academic success.
As a current 6th and 7th-grade English teacher, I am deeply passionate about helping students grow as readers, writers, and lifelong learners. My goal is to make learning a positive and enriching experience, instilling confidence in students' abilities and paving the way for their academic success.
