My approach is quite classic,it's the way I was taught at the university - first I explain to you the theory and answer all your questions, then we do a couple od exercises that illustrate the theoretical part, and after that you'll get homework consisting of similar excercises and due to be done by our next lesson. Excercises is vital in the learning process, because as they say, practice makes perfect.
