To start with, I’d like to get to know what the students already know and then identify areas for development—as an experienced teacher, I have a variety of teaching approaches available to me. With targeted sessions based on key areas such as building knowledge of the texts studied, essay planning and writing, creative and discursive folio writing, or close reading skills, I can help your child not only develop a better understanding of the subject but perform well in exams.

Details
£30/h online. £35/h for Higher English. I am a fully qualified high school English teacher with many past tutees who have gained an A grade. All of my tutees have gone up by at least one grade, but many of them by two. I am also skilled in helping my tutees develop personalised revision plans, and am happy to mark work done by the student outside of tutorials with sufficient notice. I also have a considerable bank of teaching resources and notes that I offer my tutees to keep. I offer a bulk discount of 10h for the price of 9h.
