About Anisa
I hold an MA in English, have qualified the prestigious Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in English — one of the most competitive academic distinctions in the country — and am a Ph.D. scholar in English, bringing a deep command of language, literature, and research to everything I teach. My academic journey has shaped me into an educator who goes far beyond textbooks, offering students not just knowledge, but critical thinking, analytical depth, and a genuine love for the English language. Whether in the classroom or beyond, I bring the rigor of research and the warmth of a mentor to every learner I work with.

My teaching is rooted in the belief that language is best learned through real communication, not memorization. I use a communicative approach at the core of every class — encouraging students to speak, respond, debate, and express themselves naturally from day one. This is enriched with storytelling and role play, which bring the language to life, making vocabulary and grammar stick in a meaningful, memorable way. I also rely on task-based learning, giving students real-world challenges — writing an email, planning a trip, debating a topic — so they can apply what they learn immediately.
