About Sabrina
I was born in Canada but grew up in the Caribbean, St. Kitts if it's on your map. Growing up, my mother was really strict about my English, always proper English with no slang words, which I only just started to appreciate. I studied Sociology and Psychology, planning on becoming a social worker, which is something I always did with my father. However, when I finished my degree, I decided to go to China to teach, and it turns out I love it.

I have taught both online and offline over the last two and a half years as a teacher but I've been around children working in community centers since I was fairly young. I approach my older classes as a group of friends working on our English together and for my younger classes I pretend I'm on an educational children's show. Both groups tend to be pretty happy with both. I have experience working with children with a variety of needs I can adapt to almost anything they need. I've been told I look like a Disney Princess which helps and yes if my students sing I will for sure sing.
