About Briar
I have many years of experience teaching and working with English learners across different levels and learning goals. My teaching emphasizes patience, adaptability, and encouragement, creating a supportive environment where students can grow in confidence, accuracy, and communication skills. I focus on helping learners develop their own voice in English, combining strong language foundations with practical expression and fluent usage. My English lessons combine strong language fundamentals, practical communication skills, and expressive fluency. I guide students through grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing structure, pronunciation, and speaking practice, while helping them develop confidence in real-world communication. Every session is tailored to individual goals, learning pace, and proficiency level.
Beginners focus on basic grammar, sentence formation, vocabulary building, and simple speaking practice to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners refine grammar usage, improve writing clarity, expand vocabulary, and strengthen speaking fluency and comprehension. Advanced students work on complex writing styles, advanced grammar structures, critical reading, public speaking, and professional communication skills. Listening practice and language application are integrated naturally to improve accuracy and fluency.
I encourage students to actively use the language in meaningful contexts, turning learning into a confident and engaging experience. Each lesson is designed to build clarity, confidence, and long-term mastery of English communication.
