About Desiree
I have been doing this for awhile. I started my career in education as a graduate teaching assistant while I was earning my Master's degree. Since then, I have experienced tremendous success with widely varied groups of students—I have a knack for figuring out where the pain points are with any given student then (importantly) helping them figure out the best way to either clear them out of the way or work around them effectively. I am a current teacher, tutor, and law student with a Master's degree in History, emphasis Analytical Writing & Research. I have worked with high school students as an AP History and AP English teacher and tutor for 10+ years. I am patient, kind, and relaxed, but I will keep you on task and I will provide you with identifiable, practical, workable skills that you can carry forward with you after the session. I usually work with high school students and college students. Most of my lessons are with high school AP English or AP History students, but I can work with any English or History students and with anyone seeking help with essay writing.
