About Sydney
I’m a soon-to-be graduate from the State University of New York in Geneseo with a BA in English. I have worked for two years as an ELL-Recommended Writing Center Tutor, helping students from all years and disciplines achieve their writing goals and improve their understanding of the English language in virtual, one-on-one sessions! I also have four years of experience helping English Language Learners improve their written and oral English. I am a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honors society

My teaching approach is to prioritize the student’s personal goals. I base my classes on whether a student seeks to improve their focus, development, mechanics, or overall command of English for academic purposes. I approach each topic by making the content as relevant and digestible as possible. I believe in supporting and encouraging students by providing clear, constructive feedback.
