About Ella
I am an English major entering my third year at Mount Allison University who loves to read and write in their spare time. It may sound a bit nerdy, but I really do love to learn, especially in collaborative classes that encourage open discussion and learning from your peers. Sometimes learning can be boring, but the best teachers know how to make it fun, and I find that oftentimes the most effective way to learn is by having fun!

I believe anyone can learn, it's all a matter of finding out what works best for the student. I strive to meet students where they're at and to help them understand the material in a way that makes sense to them (as opposed to following a strict and inflexible standard that does not accommodate all learners).
I want to help students feel proud of the work they accomplish and invested in their learning by playing towards their strengths and interests to cultivate a desire to learn, and by offering supportive feedback and encouragement to help them grow.
