About Maya
I have worked in a plethora of different settings ranging from middle school to college. Within my time working with middle school and high school students, I have had the chance to provide clarity and understanding regarding certain topics within English and Literature. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to aid in paper revisions for college students, working with them to ensure that their work is college-level and helping them receive the grades they deserve. Whether it be difficulty starting an essay or analyzing various themes within a novel, I have not only had personal experience, but have helped others navigate this territory successfully as well.

I believe that, despite one's like or dislikes, anyone can craft a quality essay or compelling story. With my lessons, I will work one on one with my student, dissecting their work and revising as necessary. With a little bit of patience, time, and humor, I believe that reading and writing can be enjoyable (even for the non-English lovers!)
