About Alyssa
I am a university English Writing major with only one semester left until I graduate! I am passionate about all things reading and writing and I love to help and inspire youth through the power of words. Understanding basic English skills are fundamental to learning and I want to prepare students for future literary endeavors through my extensive English background!

I provide lessons in English for those in early elementary school up to grade 12. First, assessing where the child stands in regards to their English skills and establishing what the student wants to improve on or receive help with. Regardless if it is working on basic reading skills or preparing a detailed essay, we will come up with a plan of action together and a schedule that works well for both of us. Patience is key when teaching anything and it is something along with encouragement that I consistently implement!
