About Ice
Hello there! My name is Isaac Magpoc and I'm currently a 3rd year student at the prestigious University of California Berkeley. I'm an English Major with a Minor in Creative Writing.
I thrive to one day be a fulltime teacher as well as publish my own creative works. In the meantime, I hope to help others as much as I can in their education. Both to gain experience in teaching but also an attempt to help others in the same places that I have struggled before.

I am a very straightforward yet adaptive individual who will adjust the lesson plan according to each person's different style of learning.
For those having more difficulty -
I'll slow down making sure each step is properly understood before moving onto the next topics. To help with individuals struggling, I'll try to also introduce some methodology about writing in order to better build their confidence on learning and writing.
For those in the groove of things -
I'll try to be more direct, and teaching will be on the faster pace of things. I'll assume you have your own methodology of working on things but I will still continue to help you strengthen and improve your methods.
Lesson plans will vary from individual to individual but it will be as follows for the most part:
-Reading of texts/writing
-Discussion and analysis
-Review of discussion and analysis
-Reading/Writing Workshop
As a tutor, I don't seek to simply give you the answers but a means to reach that answer in your own way. Understanding what works best for you, both in reading and analyzing texts as well as writing and delivering your ideas, is my major goal.
