About Jas
I’m Jas! I’m a 20 year old here for the summer who absolutely adores English.
I know how hard the subject can be - especially when it comes to finnicky exam boards and specific requirements; I would love to help you express yourself in writing while achieving the best grades possible.
English is a great subject, albeit seemingly endless - I am here to help with those areas you struggle with! Literature, poetry, creative writing, examination prep, you name it and I will help you!

To me, tutoring is a much more personal approach to teaching students. Where schools are more streamlined and catered to the majority, tutoring should focus on the independent student.
I would first get to know the student’s strengths and weaknesses and adapt lessons constantly; always considering what was achieved last time, and what needs improvement.
I try to maintain a much more casual approach to create an environment where students are not afraid to ask questions or where they are not intimidated.
My lessons can be changed for most levels and ages (approx. 10-18) and will be minimum one hour per lesson!
I tutored younger students during secondary and sixth form and helped develop their skills in preparation for exams.
