I take a student-centered, flexible approach to tutoring, designing each lesson around the student’s individual goals and learning style. My classes are interactive and practical, combining conversation, grammar, reading, and writing exercises. I also integrate real-life examples, media, and cultural insights to make learning engaging and memorable.

I use interactive, conversation-based learning and customize lessons for each student’s pace and needs. I mix grammar, reading, writing, and listening practice, and often use multimedia resources like videos, songs, and articles to enhance understanding.

Lessons usually last 45–60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s preferences and goals.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching languages to students of all ages and levels. I hold an IELTS certificate and a TTC (Teacher Training Certificate), and I am currently studying Psychology, which helps me understand how students learn and stay motivated.

I teach English for all levels—from beginners to advanced learners—and for all ages, from children to adults. My lessons are perfect for anyone who wants a personalized, fun, and effective learning experience.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I developed an interest in English quite early, but I started taking it seriously around the age of 15, which is also when I began tutoring. Teaching wasn’t just a side activity, it quickly became something I genuinely enjoyed, especially seeing how fast students could improve with the right guidance.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach English with a strong focus on real-life usage, speaking, fluency, and confidence. I enjoy working on practical topics like everyday conversations, business communication, and presentation skills. I also like integrating movies, series, and music into lessons because it makes learning more natural and engaging. I’m less interested in overly theoretical grammar-heavy sessions unless they directly serve a practical purpose.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Yes, I had teachers who made the language feel alive rather than academic. What stood out was their ability to make students speak without fear. That approach influenced how I teach, I focus on creating a space where making mistakes is part of the process, not something to avoid.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

Clarity, patience, and adaptability. A good tutor needs to adjust to each student’s level and goals instead of following a rigid method. Also, being able to explain things simply is more valuable than just knowing them. And most importantly, a tutor should build confidence, not just deliver information.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

One of my students initially refused to speak because they were afraid of making mistakes. Instead of pushing grammar, I focused on simple conversations and real-life scenarios. Within a few weeks, they went from silence to actively participating and even initiating discussions. That shift reinforced how important confidence is in language learning.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

Like most learners, I struggled with fluency and overthinking at the beginning. Understanding English is very different from using it confidently. Even now, the challenge is continuously refining how I teach, keeping lessons effective while also engaging and relevant.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I’m particularly passionate about making English practical and immersive. I enjoy combining teaching with storytelling, films, and real-life scenarios. It’s less about teaching the language in isolation and more about helping students actually live it.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions :-P) ?

I don’t just teach English, I train students to use it confidently in real situations. My approach is structured but flexible, focused on results, and tailored to each student. The goal is not just improvement, but transformation in how they communicate.
